TWO FRIARGATE, Coventry’s premier office building, raises its international profile and appears before a global audience with a new DMO partnership with Birmingham Airport, the UK’s seventh-busiest airport.

The city’s official Destination Management Organisation – Destination Coventry – has formed a new partnership with the airport and secured a prime promotional opportunity within the arrivals hall of the region’s global transport hub.

A truly global city

Only a 10-minute train journey from Birmingham Airport, TWO FRIARGATE is one of the West Midlands’ most exciting commercial opportunities. Immediately adjacent to Coventry Railway Station, those working at TWO FRIARGATE could transfer from office desk to check-in desk in around 15 minutes.

As Coventry’s most iconic Grade A office building, TWO FRIARGATE was the obvious choice to feature in graphics welcoming thousands of passengers that pass through the airport each day. The second building to be delivered as part of the wider Friargate Business District, which is set to become a hub for established and growing businesses.

Elevating transport at TWO FRIARGATE

A leading international transport hub, Birmingham Airport is served by over 90 destinations globally, including domestic airports, major business destinations in Frankfurt, Dubai and Paris, as well as tourist hotspots like Dubrovnik, Faro and coastal destinations.

The move has increased TWO FRIARGATE’s visibility and international profile – it’s now being seen by occupiers, decision-makers and investors, 24 hours a day.

Comprehensive connectivity

TWO FRIARGATE’s city centre location and unrivalled digital infrastructure are set to provide occupiers with comprehensive connectivity options, from commuting and travel to remote working.

Coventry’s state-of-the-art office building has already received a WiredScore Platinum certification. This award, from the world’s leading certification company for technology in buildings, demonstrates the building’s high-speed internet connectivity and protection for critical communications.

TWO FRIARGATE is also targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating to put it among the top 10% of new non-domestic buildings for sustainability, supported by Coventry’s excellent public transport provision – including Coventry Railway Station, which recently marked one year post-redevelopment.

The building, set for completion in Summer 2023, will reap the benefits of Destination Coventry’s promotional partnership with Birmingham Airport, leveraging its location and enhancing its international profile.
